Anyone ever been to Tulum, Mexico?
I am going in Feb. Any recommendations on must do or see's?

Yeah - if you go to the ruin, head down and to the left as you are facing the main ruin and there is a little beach access... beautiful - if you then wade out waste deep and go south (to your right) past the rock outcropping you'll come to a little isolated sandy beach below the ruin. Very nice sunbathing and swimming.

tulum ruins are way cool...
watch out for the pesky iguanas!! :) also, I hear the Chichen Itza ruins are way better. Next time, we go, we are going to check them out. visit Playa Del Carmen. cool little tourist spot. |

I've been. We rented a car and drove down. It was really beautiful. If you go to Tulum Beach you'll probably see some nekkid people. :Graucho
We went to Chichen Itza on a different trip. It was even better but we were exhausted by the time we were through. Christ my legs were sore. If you go with a tour group/bus you can't leave until the set time so it's better to drive your own vehicle. |
