Re: http://www.adultpaysitepreview.com/r.../pimp-4-a-day/

IDENTIFIED PROBLEM: Web site uses a Nintendo trademark (Donkey Kong) in
the code of the page.

Dear Adult Pay Site Preview,

We are an Internet monitoring agency representing Nintendo of America
Inc. ("Nintendo"). We are writing to ask you to stop using the Nintendo
properties in the hidden text/visible text/meta tags and/or title and/or
links of the above-referenced sexually explicit Web site. Nintendo's
customers include many children and their parents. Unauthorized use of
Nintendo trademark(s)/work(s) is harmful to those customers and will
tarnish Nintendo's reputation.

We look forward to your immediate confirmation that you have taken the
necessary steps to resolve this matter. To that end, you may email us at
[email protected].

Please note that these are automatic email boxes so typically no
response is sent as long as the problem is corrected.

Sincerely,
Cyveillance

funny thing is I copied this term "donkey kong" directly from the Pimp 4 a day tour (I don't have such a rich imagination LOL).

anyhow, I will remove this term of course, I definitely didn't intend to attract minors to this page...

but I wander how they found this.. the page is not in the first pages of the google search...

i can't believe they are giving you shit over:

"They picked up on Jasmine in front of a Laundrymat and the shit was on like donkey kong"

....but you have to play by the rules.

are they going to contact me now?

Drake 12-03-2004 04:57 PM

Just contact Nintendo, it's most likely an automated mistake.

Read the article in Xbiz World (December Issue, pg 18) titled "Nintendo Apologizes to SuicideGirls for Trademark Claims". Same situation with you happened to them. It's part of Nintendo's effort to not have adult sites come up when children are searching for games.

You might end up with a free Nintendo and game out of it just like the SuicideGirls people did.

hehe, that'd be cool...
but do I really have a case against them? I mean, can the phrase "donkey kong" be said in the context it's being used on my page? is it known slang, or just some made up crap? because I've never heard it said...
