Anyone here actually chose a sponsor to promote solely via banners they saw
 

at a webmaster board? I've always wondered about this.

sometimes one gets my attention so I check it out...thats the point I guess

well we promote basicly everything that's out there, so when I see a new program and it looks like we can trust it, we will join :)

to the question though, no...never solely on a banner, certainly might have caught some attention...however that could be good or bad.

As for your question, yes I've promoted programs that advertise... they have the money to advertise so they must be doiung well and they must want to get traffic.
