its not hard to exercise them either i built mine up loads (for cycling) the last 6 months or so just stand on tiptoes 60-80 times in a row x 4 sets once or twice a week

Jesus. I have naturally large muscled calves, (felt kinda like a sideshow freak in San Diego), and don't do anything at all to gain them. They're just that way.
