The best CMS out there?

From your own experience, what is the best CMS out there? And why? If you have a CMS solution and want to demo it for me hit me up on ICQ please.

Updatem is an Update manager more than a CMS, but many people with small to medium sized paysite companies who think they want a CMS are often happy with Updatem :)

Brilliant price, and customer support is top notch. Been working with it for the past month, and thrilled to death with it. I've had experience with 4 other high end CMSs as well, so I've got a little experience with em...

Aren't they CGI based code, which would make it slooow compared to PHP/mySql?

cool :) is perl really faster than php?

mryellow 12-03-2004 10:27 PM

Poor Perl is slower than good PHP
Poor PHP is slower than good Perl

Really there is not much difference.

It all depends on the coder and how well they know what they
are doing. ,mod_perl can run a lot faster than PHP. PHP can run a
lot faster than mod_perl.

Some things might take you 100 lines of code in PHP and 3 lines in Perl.
Some things might take you 10 lines of Perl and 3 lines of PHP.

I've been using sitedepth for a long time and I am very happy with it... I've seen previews of the new release and it will allow screen caps of the vidoes as drctfiesta pointed out. Overall a lot of new features and improvements...

It depends on the job...

Perl is a programming language, PHP is a scripting language

Wow, that looks pretty big for a free program. Definately looking into it more thoroughly.

Do you like it? Is it easy to maintain on a program with many different sites?
