Which software/plugin could do this quickly?

Arles Image could do it. My guess would be though, that it was probably done in Photoshop or Fireworks or something similar and then sliced.

Hint: We live in a square universe. There are no round images.

How is this easily done in Photoshop? Is each image convered to thumbs, then framed with a circle and then placed on the full image which is then sliced, or is there a simpler method? Is there a way this can be done daily in 10 minutes or so?

If you mask the rounds, it is easy to add the pics everyday in 10 minutes, then slice it in Fireworks, if you save the png, you can just insert the new photoshop doc every day http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

i wonder if that kinda hardwork pays off

Whoreans, I built a few galleries similar to it a couple of years ago and I found it really didn't increase sign-ups enough to justify the time, however today's TGP market is very different...

Hypo, you can make a gallery like that in Fireworks or Photoshop in no time... but why? There's alot more overhead with one of those than with a regular ol' gallery, which can be made even faster.

IMHO, unless you're makin' a site interface, don't waste time gettin' overly fancy with stuff like that... gallery's just don't need it. But that's just my take on things.

Months ago i also build galleries like this. Its not worth the time. I didnt make a penny with it.

I think galleries like this will really improve click through ratios.
I've never tried it though, must be a killer on bandwith...
