Wow, I just grabbed a new one yeasterday for one of our team that's going to Europe.

I got it from Best Buy:

fucking insane.

I saw that one, nice.

That is too much power for you though. Hell, GFY runs on a 1.6 Ghz.

It almost cost more than my pc.

Shit, I want to get a laptop soon myself. I have never heard of a Best Buy in Canada, but I guess I could go down to Seattle and see a SeaHawks game.

I wonder if the wait at the border will be horribly slow...

I just picked up a PIII 800MHZ, 40 gig, 512mb RAM, 32mg graphics card with dual monitor capabilities for about $650. The actual cost was $643.00

It's not the fastest out there, but it's a lot faster than my previous PII 400mhz, 10 gig, 256mb ram. and for $643 it was well worth the money. Plus the only thing on it was Win2kPro, no bundled bullshit.

I got it from the same lady that built our computer system that runs chucky http://systempros.com (shameless plug, but she's really nice)
