Adware vs Spyware
Both are the same for you?
Is one worst than other ? Do you agree with adware? Carl D. Howe, research director, Forrester said Executable applications will give users tools to experience the NET in more entertaining and engaging ways" Is he right or not? :ak47: :ak47: :ak47: |

Adware make you pop shits... It's more annoying !

From a security perspective, both are concerning because of the privacy issues. If done "correctly", AdWare should only show you ads where as SpyWare sends potentially sensitive data back to the sponsoring host. I use numerous applications that are "AdWare Supported" but none that install SpyWare....
SpyBot has an 'innoculate' feature where you can block out about 1500+ known-bad spyware applications so even if you click yes by accident it won't let it install. |
