So my dad called today with questions about the porn internet industry...
 

he wanted to know what organizations or companies provided life and health insurance for us porn internet workers...

he explained that in other industries there are groups or organizations for contract type workers that you can be affiliated with and pay yearly dues that provide a membership...and with that membership comes insurance and lots of perks....my guess is that it is almost similar to a union

why doesn't the online porn industry have such things? wouldn't this be a profitable game for one of the big players to pick up and manage? it could create more organization amoung our peers...

sort of like a SAG for porn workers....

On the other hand, I'm thinking the geography of everyone could cause problems with something like that. Maybe not. Like you, I don't know much about insurance.

porn pushers are too independent to form a gild or group to benefit themselves. they would rather try to screw one another. could be alot of things, medical insurance, life insurance legal fees and more all depends on what you want. but they never will, afraid someone will find out how much they are making. or even worse. they would have to conform.
