And yes...in our news they did a story JUST about the muslims that were helping in NYC. They are amongst the emergency services, they are donating money, they are doctors treating the lucky ones, their companies are giving food and the such.

Oh..and then there are those Muslims that died in the towers.

Maybe he meant that Hitler was not representing Christians as a whole.

The rest of the Christians didn't do anything until they were themselves attacked. Like the USA, for example, did not declare war until she was attacked.

Now, the president of the largest muslim country (by population) in the world (which is also the largest democracy in the world) visited George today and pledged her support in the fight against terrorism.

well if that's what she meant, she'd be wrong. all of Europe was at war with germany well before all of Europe was attacked. During that time, the US was pouring millions of dollars towards the war effort before being attacked. And as far as indonisia goes,......talk is cheap.

12clicks, I like you too but I think you are the one that is wrong on this (which by the way is part of the joy of living in free countries..we can disagree).

Firstly you didn't say Arab you said Muslim and not all Muslims are Arab and frankly a large number of them aren't.

Secondly, seriously..I do understand WW2 because as I said I live where it was fought and I have gone out and actually spoken and interviewed (for myself and for a book I was paid to help research) people from both sides. Soldiers on the ground and normal everyday people.

Europe might have been fighting but the States wasn't until far into it. Europe fought because they were scared..with reason. Hitler liked the UK..he thought they were a 'proper' society. So the UK could have gone largely untouched if they chose not to fight back.

Also, if you thought that those fighting knew about the camps and the such from the start you are wrong. From the intereviews I have done it became clear (and I backed it up with research) that even though they knew there were camps they didn't know the true nature of the camps.

They thought they were more like the camps we had for the Japanese. Which were wrong but not on the same level. A lot of the truth about what happened in those camps wasn't fully discovered until later on.

One of the interviews I did was with a man who was the first photographer into one of the camps...he was with the military when they discovered it. He went insane (not a joke ..he did) from what he had seen and carried a suitcase full of photos he took at the camp everywhere he went. So, I have done my research on these thing. I may be young but I have done a lot of work with this kind of thing. Not to mention that I actually live in the outside world.

Don't worry..I tell the British and the others when they are being idiots (in my view) too.

If they are people of any religion that think this was right then they need to cease being. However, it is never right to blanket an entire race or religion.

True, but the weakminded people over there are buying into it, and the ones that are able to think for themselves (in Afghanistan, not here) don't dare go against what the Taliban wants, for fear of being lynched in the street.

I hope this when this is all over some of the surviving people in Afghanistan..especially the women get liberated. I can't imagine what it was like in 1997 to go to bed an educated woman and wake to being less than a dog.

I agree. I dont usually give much thought to the "plight of women" because my wife is such a bitch, but i really feel for the women in afghanistan. Nobody should have to live like that.

I wasn't trying to get into a global debate on the thought processes of muslims worldwide. I simply said, the people over there are going to be against us no matter what, because they'll be killed by the Taliban if they aren't.

Quite honestly all of Europe sat by and watched Eastern Europe get hammered, while they prayed nothing would happen to them. I don't really think that Western Europe did much more than talk a good game til he turned his eyes on them.
