Two of my friends and I started smoking in college at the same time. They are both now addicted to smoking 2-3 blunts per day while I smoke maybe every other month if that.

I guess it comes down to what you let control your life.

I won't even touch advil let alone a man made drug. It probably depends on your personality as well.

People with addictive personalities will grab onto anything, be it drugs, food, dysfunctional relationships, etc.

No honest study has ever shown marijuana to be a "gateway drug". Alcohol and tobacco are gateway drugs and as addictive if not more than any hard drug out there.

no way, my friend who is 19 and has been smokin heavily for a few years just quit the other day because hes on probation, he always said hed never quit smoking pot but when you seriously have to you can, he quit and still sells it, its all about self control

Pot is addictive, despite what you may hear. It allows you to try other drugs and some people just need to try something once and they are hooked to some other drugs.
