EPASSPORTE.COM - Really shitty service...
 

This company is so infuriating....I have had an account for a few months with them and normally use the ATM card for withdrawing my cash that is in the account but because they only allow me 150 GBP daily ( around $280 ) I decided to add a bank account within the admin ( have tried previously but the system kept asking for an ABA number ).

So I try and set it up again today and it asks for this ABA number again so I phone Epassporte up and am told to contact my bank as they will provide you with the number....phone up my UK bank and they state we don`t have ABA numbers ( just sort codes + IBANN numbers ) so I try to enter these..again.

Still rejected, so I call up Epass again and after 15 minutes of talking to someone, she speaks to her supervisor and then states that you cannot enter a UK account ( U.S accounts only ) so I ask her why does the drop down menu allow me to enter a UK address what with the country fields that are listed?

She has no idea and has no further idea why this important fact is not mentioned at the site ( that bank accounts outside the U.S cannot be added ).

Waste of a fucking hour.

I'm sorry for your difficulties with ePassporte. It is indeed correct that (at this time) you can not add a UK bank account to your ePassporte account. I'll look into the drop down menu issue you mentioned.

In the meantime, you can increase your daily withdrawal limit by upgrading to an ePassporte "Select" account or contacting [email protected] from your ePassporte email address.

The main issue I had was that I wasn`t told this initially, your support staff didn`t seem to know this and that it should be clear on the site that this option isn`t available.

Just a bit of a timewaste that`s all...no more needs to be mentioned here. :)
