Not during the first 2 weeks. The first 2 weeks are filled with lean meat, nuts, eggs, some low-fat cheese and lots of veggies.

10 lbs in a week!!??

shit when i was hiking 5 hours a day, every day last summer, i was only killing around 1/2 lb/day. amazing.

Well, I already spent quite a while running every morning, lifting several times a week and biking almost daily - and that stopped having any significant effect some time ago. So, the effects of this are really quite surprising.

usually people on diets dont loose more than 3-4lbs per week......

No, I don't weigh 300 pounds. I weigh 200 lbs, and am in good shape - right now I'm even starting to get my old six-pack stomach back :glugglug

yes, your goal shouldn't be to lose as much as you possibly can in the shortest amount of time. cause when you do that, not all of it is fat, a lot of it is muscle too. :(

I'm not specifically aiming to lose as much weight as possible as quickly as possible, I'm just following the diet and eating until I'm full.
The possibility of losing muscle along with the fat doesn't really bother me, since building muscle comes extremely easy to me. So far, though, the only visible change has been less fat around my stomach.
