Unless it's a really good domain, a domain is still worhless since it can be replaced by a similar domain.
And when you want to put them to work for you, you have to spend some time on them...and if you wouldn't they wouldn't earn back their registration fee.
So if you develop a domain name, it's not longer a domain name, it's a site, so it's obvious that it makes you money.
But when you have like 100 of names like cute-nice-teens.com then they are basically worthless unless you develop them.
