Who Uses The Word "Gal"?
 

where in the world in 2004 do people come from that use the word 'gal' to describe a girl as in 'she's a good looking gal'?

I thought that word went out with Bob Hope but i've been noticing people using it.

Maybe this conservative family values backlash is sucking people's brains out.

see - i told u i am hearing it lately from people. yeah to me it does sound like a word from the 50's. Well i guess it beats calling girls 'bitches' which seems to be a pretty popular choice with alot of people.

i am gonna try it out - 'hey there you are one purty gal but i guess all the fellas tell you that!' - which reminds me I need a new hula hoop.

I use it all the time. Then again, I also use "gentleman" quite often too. Using proper language tends to flatter some people.
