Today Labs2 announced the first 1gigabit/s connection in the world for the private market.

"Ofcource we're happy to present this milestone, Sweden was first with both 10/100 Mbps and now with the gigabit limit before our asian colleagues. Yahoo BB will launch a similar connection in Japan next spring. It's up to Swedish government to continue co-operate and invest in long-term infrastructure said Ceo Jonas Birgersson"

The price will be 850 SEK/month (about $125/month)
