This has been denied by both the Taliban and the US gov't. So, who knows.

However. What *is* true is that the Taliban have arrested a British female journalist.

They claim she entered the country with out permission. From all accounts she was wearing full Islamic woman dress and was observing all their rules.

She is a blonde, fair skinned western female and I for one am keeping her and her daugher (who is back home) in my thoughts. One hell of a brave journalist.
