AFF, how is this possible?
 

We all know abut the geo targeting ads, those are cool and improve convertions, but there's no real profiles and I wouldnt believe those girls were really in my town in Portugal, their nicks and descriptions are all in english.

But I see some sites using another aproach, and the profiles are real, and the girls are really in my town and speak my language, and that is awesome! I clicked a few ads myself. Look at http://www.stickyhole.com/ and http://www.socalmovies.com/ , there's more out there, and see what I mean. How are they doing it? I bet those pull a lot more clicks than the ones I'm using.

I just hate it when noone cares :feels-hot

i dont know, if i am drunk right now or blind, but i still see there same AFF adverts as everywhere else.
(no other language then english, same sluts and descriptions pretending to be from your nearest ip location city)

The ones you're looking at are real profiles, it's not the same you can find in the banners area of AFF.

You've got to code those yourself. AFF doesn't technically allow it.

Well the reason I wanted to meet with ya in Vegas was not to talk about football...

The only thing is, those geo targeted ads don't work. I am in Hawaii, they were showing matches in Colorado. Stickhole has awesome traffic though.

Again, they don't work for everyone. For those that they DO work for, they make decent money.

You simply can't.
You can't sell copyrighted aff database of profiles, photos, including member details. It is strictly forbidden, and your account may closed due to abuse of AFF terms.

We created this advertise system first, and only we (BP4L) allowed to use it. We are not planning to put it to any other sites anymore. Everything has its limits.

I stopped 2 guys who using similar system before. If I see again, I'll talk nicely and warn. But if it keeps using it, I won't be nice again.

AGAIN AND AGAIN
We have permission to use aff copyrighted material on our sites, because we created this kind of advertise first, working with aff itself (they provided us database etc etc). So don't try to steal it. If you do, you'll violate aff terms and your acc may get closed without a warning.

because it doesn't work. you're right. funny how i can meet tons of REAL girls on craigslist, and ZERO on a site that i tested with cash. i was thinking of promoting it, but why, if it doesn't work. i have no problem at all meeting girls on other free sites like craigslist. i would say that a great majority of the profiles on aff are fake. to let you know, i had the bells and whistles package for a month, cost about 60 something. i wouldn't send traffic there. not angry, they just failed my test.

Actually, I emailed them with the idea over a year ago (before you started doing it) and was told I couldn't do it so I didn't. That makes it my idea. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop copying it.

Seriously though, AFF can't authorize you to show its members on your site. It's not their call to make. If any of their members see their pics on a porn site and complain, the shit will hit the fan. The only reason you're still being allowed to do that is the AFF lawyer(s) haven't found out yet. Your rep isn't going to make you stop, I assure you.

If AFF will add or they already have couple of lines in their privacy policy saying that memberphotos may be used in their affiliatenetwork to promote AFF, I quess it would be legal then ?

Let me clarify a few things:

AFF cannot enforce the exclusivity or ownership rights of promotional methods invented and used by our affiliates. We encourage our affiliates to be inventive and resourceful, but all good ideas get discovered by the masses and imitated -- sooner or later. Where we do have an opinion is in making sure that affiliates are in compliance with our T&C. There are a number of parties claiming to have been the originators of the banner format you can currently view on our Banner Farm. The gist is a combination of member images and a geo-sensitive element, based on IP detection and a 3rd party matching DB. I couldn't tell you who did it first, nor is that a piece of information there's very much I can do with.

Rather than individually police the numerous forms these ads began to appear in, and ensure they were all compliant, we decided to offer up an approved version ourselves.

At the moment, we are still transitioning a number of affiliates, who are using either ads they made themselves or ads made by others, over to OUR ads. The current ads of this type we are offering use images from a limited pool of images approved for marketing purposes outside our site. The next rev of ads will use an even larger pool of member images -- thus expanding their effectiveness (in places like Portugal, as requested by Tuga) even further.

Thanks, I'll wait for AFF to further develop those tools, I'm sure signups will rocket when some real profiles are available to use outside the US. And I dont care who used it first, it's a great idea and it's out there, everyone who wants to use it should be able to do it :thumbsup
