Hahaha, this is just one rare occasion that I had the camera with me, Ive been in studios for like the past year and half just chillin watching shit get made, its crazy to see it go from the studio to the public, and noticing all the aspects of the beat and how it was all made. Some intense shit.

See if you were smart, and were dealing with people in the hop hop industry you would know, that most of the artists dont give a shit about the studio (although Im sure they wouldnt mind it being very nice), they care about the quality of the equipment and the talent of the producer they are working with (because thats what makes them sound the way they do), and in this case the equipment is basically top end for a home studio especially considering the fact that he is only 22. Its a waste of money to spend cash on the looks of the studio, because as I said before that doesnt generate you the money, the talent of the producer, MC, and the equipment is what generates it. I agree the place doesnt look too nice, but then again I dont think it matters too much to the artists, and it doesnt hurt to debut on Jay-Z's Black Album either, as far as artists wanting to work with you.

My room mates friend is thinkin about moving up to NYC for a few months....She was looking at some places in Manhatten tonight going for $2k+/month for one bedrooms...Fuck that

Whoa there sailor. you're throwing around the term 'artist' pretty freely there. Jay-z is not a fucking artist. he takes OTHER people's music and redoues it. Where's the fucking art in tyhat? Why not check REAL heads like Mos Def, Common, De la, or Radiohead or hell even the Tragically Hip. Those fuckers are a dime a dozen. I know 30 of them on TO alone, stick to the real hip hop or jump on the bling banwagon. Crypic souls was a decent group of dudes, too bad they turned into fuckers.....

yah but too much style over substance. Gangstarr has dope beats WITH HYPE lyrics. Mos def's beats are good, but what he spits is almost always tight. Tha liks are the same, De la, old tribe. New ip Hop in Canada is much better than most stuff in the states. My boy dropped me a Red Dragon promo - ill. Jay-z and seancombs are bums, always have been, always will be. they're killin hip hop.
