Does Time Zone effect 2257?

If a girl turns 18 on 12/5 and was born on the east coast, is it legal to film her at 11pm on 12/4 on the west coast?

Thoughts?

I mean - what if the girl is in Australia?!@

Wait a few hours for the clock to strike midnight. I would assume it is where you are on that day, so if the local authorities came by, you could prove it :2 cents:

Interresting question ? My 2 cents would say that she is 18 on the earliest time zone.:2 cents:

So if Life begins at conception? Can you shoot a girl that is 17 and 3 months?

Wolfy 11-29-2004 10:07 AM

well, if you want to get that technical you'd have to factor in her hour of birth, i.e. if she was born on the 5th at 11PM she's nto really 18 until it is 11PM in whatever time zone she was born in.

THEN you have to factor in leap years, for fucks sake.......

xclusive 11-29-2004 10:08 AM

I believe it is in the timezone she was born in...

Paco, of Large Cash. 11-29-2004 10:10 AM

I believe it is all based on the atomic clock or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

sean416 11-29-2004 10:10 AM

There is no precedent, and I dont think there ever will be. So all this is speculation and hearsay. If you asked a lawyer he'd probably say the local time zone.:winkwink:

emthree 11-29-2004 10:13 AM

haha what a funny question :1orglaugh
But I agree with the rest, it's local time zone that matters.

This is most likely the case, but you have to ask your self, if you want to be the case to set that precedent? I dont. Wait for the following morning.

i guess it would be GMT lol i could be wrong, but it is internationally recognized at least :

The Greenwich Meridian (Prime Meridian or Longitude Zero degrees) marks the starting point of every time zone in the World. GMT is Greenwich Mean (or Meridian) Time is the mean (average) time that the earth takes to rotate from noon-to-noon.

GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Greenwich Mean Time is international time, the basis of the world time clock. Marks precision time and military time (sometimes called Zulu Time). Defines date and time and the exact time. The atomic time clock is adjusted by leap seconds to maintain synchronicity with GMT.

so if she lives in NY but happens to be getting filmed being fucked in Hawaii its OK? yah right

It is based on where the 2257 Date of Production and the shoot/models residence is. (ID for what state)

the model must be 18 in the timezone being shot based on her state of residence and being 18 in that timezone as well at the time of production.

There you go Ray always looking out!

magicmike 11-29-2004 11:43 AM

Would you go to a club / bar when you were 20, but 21 in a different time zone and try to argue that?

WTF are you thinking?

dcortez 11-29-2004 11:51 AM

You can't wait a day?

Geeeeeeeeeeez...
