breakbeats & breezeblocks
 
ive been listening to Adam Freeland breakbeat show all week. Hot ass beats that dude plays.

I also listen to Groove Salad internet station which plays a lot of ambient and breakbeats > http://somafm.com (they have a lot of other cool stations 2)

can any1 suggest some other cool breakbeats / breezeblocks i should check out?

just for the record, breakbeats is a genre of music. breezeblock is a show on the BBC which features great DJs.

if you're looking for a good breezeblock mix, check our roni size's breezeblock set.

well the breezeblocks i have (mp3) seem for the most part, all breakbeat type.


@ jace: i 'guess' somewhere in the UK (by his accent). I have about 6 mp3's of his radio show on 'kiss 100' -

yeah, the majority of the mixes fall into the breakbeat category. it's an extremely popular genre in the UK. the mixes that aren't breakbeat are hip hop.

i looked through my old CDs. some other good mixes to check out are Adam F, Andy C, Aphrodite, Fatboy Slim ad DJ Shadow.
