Software for making/editing video clips from wmv files?
 

Im pretty new with video editing... i've always just hooked up a dvd player to my video capture card to grab clips from DVD content, but now i've got a bunch of full length wmv clips to work with.

What program would be best for chopping up the videos (by hand, not automatically), and adding a URL watermark? I'm sure premeir would do this, but I'd need to find some sort of tutorial because I'm a total premeir newb.

Premier is the way to go, adobe's site should have some tutorials so check it out. Its not hard at all should take no more than 15 minutes to learn how to add a watermark and how to cut the file.

Premier for Windows and Final Cut Pro for the Mac.
