Getting ready to watch Bowling for Columbine
 

I havent seen it yet. I saw f 9/11 and liked it, so when I saw bowling for columbine at the store I bought it... is it any good?

Well you need to get over the overly dramatic crap Moore tries to make us gobble up, then it's good

I know exactly what you mean. I dont really have a problem with it, cause (atleast in f 9/11) I agree with his views. But I can see how if you're a member of the opposition it would piss you off.

I hate Bush, i just think Moore's full of shit, could be a great movie if it wasn't for all the cheap sentimental shots

It was an ok movie. I thought some of the parts were.. whats the word for downplayed but really.. "uplayed"? somehow.

Moore puts his twist on it, but still a movie worth watching. 9/11 was better though, and he keeps links to all of the "facts" on his website. Not sure if he does that for BFC, though.

I just finished watching it and I agree with dildozer. Michael Moore raises some awesome points, but in the same breath he's also guilty of what he charges the american government & corporations of. All in all, that movie made me pretty proud to be Canadian. I dont mean that to knock americans, but I just think there are very huge differences between common beliefs in which I am proud of. I am glad that our news coverage isn't the same, I am glad I dont have to lock my doors, etc.

I have not had the chance to see either one. But one of these days I will find the time.
