Click Through Ratios - Top Tips and Tricks!
Ok...that gallery I posted in the previous thread got listed on JJJ's. Click throughs arent to great though. I'm wonder what some tips and tricks are...I know there are plenty of gallery makers on this board to start an interesting thread. You don't have to reveal your best kept secrets, but some nice basic tips would be great for me considering i'm new in the whole "Get tgp mass traffic and eat the BW bill" game.

See, I told you. I'm real surprised easypic didnt list it, they are easier than JJJ.
As for clithru rates.. never too sure about that. galleries with high clickthru rates have a lesser chance of getting listed me thinks. I tried links between each row of thumbs and that used to work very well, but lesser listings as too many links. |

*bump post* anyone else got any tips and tricks? making the gallery pretty only can get me listed. but its a big waste of bandwidth cause ppl dont click the banner/link which leads to no sign up and i go broke for the month again. |

hm, i just checked out that gallery you posted, and how about removing the borders from the pics, and perhaps making the pics a little darker.. perhaps play with the color saturation so that the pictures isnt the main thing that catches your eye when you load the gallery..
and the of course combine this with a bright glowing color for the text links. just a suggestion, i havnt played around with this very much myself, so i dont know if the above idea would help that much.. it might work http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif |
