Ok, if your best friend is having a party (no special occasion) and the party gets dumb around 3:30am, but she still expects everyone to crash at her house, would you stick it out, or just go home (10 mins away) to sleep in your own bed?

Cuz I feel bad, but I just went home. I couldn't take being the only sober one around a bunch of drunk people any longer, and so sue me, I wanted to sleep in a bed and not on a loveseat. :(

I'd leave, why stay at a party thats not fun?

The answer is PAINFULLY obvious.

You go home, tell me you love me, ask if I'd like a sandwich, and pleasure me as best you can with tips you read from Cosmo. Then you clean up and pass out from exhaustion.

I dont do 'sleepovers'. So IMO you made the right choice.

LOL, why feel bad? It is kind of like sex, if you didn't have any fun, tell the person. Maybe they will want to find out what they did wrong, or how to make it better for you. I would have went home too, but I would have told them I was leaving because they are a bunch of drunk bastards. So I might not get invited again, or just maybe, they will have two beautiful women waiting there to entertain me when I get there. Either way I won't be bored to death.

...honesty is a nice way to go esp with friends...if I can't be blunt and honest with friends then something's wrong...and on the flip side if they aren't observant enough to understand how something was sucking.... then .....well......uhmmm....

The nice thing about drunks is they won't remember shit the next day.

I agree with you I would sleep at home and being the only sober . Drunk people can wear thin after awhile .

For once I agree with you. :) I have little patience for drunks after about the fourth hour of their silliness.

The worst is when they want to have a serious conversation about something they could never talk about sober, and you're supposed to take them seriously. I mean, if you're going to have a heartfelt conversation with me, don't try it when you're blasted out of your tree. Geez.

aww.. i hate when the happens, i know exactly how you feel... you really just cant stick around, mainly because its your good friend and you dont want them to feel hurt by you wanting to bail, but you just cant fucking take it... i have left a few times, but mainly i just try to drink myself to passout and ill leave in the morning

Thank you! That's exactly how I feel! One of the girls who was with us was pissed that her bf didn't get her a hotel room like he said he would, but it was 2am so all the local ones were closed, and they were both too drunk to drive anyway. I'm not sure where they ended up. :)

No doubt that what you did was okay. When I'm ready to sleep I want to be comfortable, not curled up on some hard floor :thumbsup

I'd leave a party to sleep in my own bed that was a lot farther away... I figure shitty sleep or spend a few mins and drive home for a nice zzzzzzz... Friends will still be friends.

if you were sober and you were driving or it was a SAFE walk (as it was VERY late and it's dangerous for a georgous woman like you to walk alone late at night in some neighborhoods)- then there's NOTHING wrong with going home.


if there was ANY question what so ever as to you being drunk and driving or in ANY danger walking home alone- TAKE THE COUCH.
