What NOT TO DO when you go motorcycle riding...

Getting air lifted out of the hills.

Poor guy, not sure what happend to him, but when the bird comes in, it's not good. I wish him some luck tonight and hope he recovers. Nobody I know, just happen to be right next to his crash.

Sad..

Whenever someone gets the VIP ride in one of those things, its not good.

That picture reminds me of an old buddy of mine, Wolf.

It seems he was out dirt bike riding in the desert, went over a jump and crashed into a washing machine that someone had dumped behind a sand berm.

He ended up in a full body cast for a year.

I was out with my friend and his father when we were 12 on dirtbikes riding the power lines. We came out to just another huge sand pit and the dad was a big guy muscle wise so he was whipping it like crazy. I was in back of him doing better than his son actually when I see the guy sky off a berm except it was cut in the middle and he didnt know so.. He jumps it like its a jump but its a berm and it caves in. Meanwhile this berm is on a hill so the dude falls and hits his nuts on the bars. Also his helmest was not strapped and he got a hole right through his chin so if he closed his mouth and push air it would go right through the hole. Good times. :thumbsup

abyss_al 11-28-2004 02:12 AM

Damn that sucks. You are in the desert, last thing to worry about is to hit a washing machine. That cocksucker that dumped that there, if the only knew what they did. Sorry to hear that man, that sucks.

As a street (sport) bike rider, you hope that it's never you needing the help.

I was on I-95 in Delaware and they closed both sides of the highway (yes 95) for almost 2 hours. It was nuts. 3 helicopters came and landed on the highway and took away a bunch of people.
