Copy an embeded .wmv file
I want to copy a .wmv embedded in a local news TV stations website.
It launches via javascript and I can't just download it like porn clips work . . . Windows Media Player says I can't copy it to a CD when i try that route. Is it setup so it can't be copied???? Anyone know how I can copy this news footage to either my hard drive or a CD ??? I've looked around in cache locations but can't seem to see it there anywhere. thanks |
view the page source to see if you can pick out the file location

Nope, they're using javascript in some way to hide everything.

here's the url to that news site

SDP won't do it in this case. (just tried using it)
the abc7 news website launches the video by way of javascript so there isn't an address directly to the file. That's what's stopping me grrrrr |
