When I first started registering domains "chevrolet.com" was available. I didn't take it because I didn't want to be sued.

I talked to a guy once that owned a couple of the big name auto manufacturers' domain names. He worked out some deal in the beginning to rent them to and manage them for the companies. I doubt that lasted too long, but he was happy for a while. |
I should add, that was his story at least :-) Some people tell some pretty tall tales, expecially in the old days... |
