all looks fine, except for the fact they use a lame ip addy on the link. best scam i've seen yet.

These are easy to test, go to the site and enter in a BS login and password, if the system accepts it you know it's fraud.

What amazes me is the police do not catch these guys more often.

I report these all the time, but I keep getting more... this sucks already

i usually will just visit paypal in that case and see if it says anything on the actual site pertaining to the message that was sent.

Just go to the main paypal site and if there is anything like this it will pop up after you login and it will ask you to fill it out or you can just go to your account...

and that is why i don't trust Paypal - that scam has been going on now for at least 2 years - first time I got one it was so good i got all the way to typing in my name to login before i thought to check out the source code of the email - the amazing thing is that the images they use in the html email are pulled from Paypal's site.

Paypal itself knows this shit is going on and I have NEVER received an email from them warning about this frequently used trick.

The email is so good I can see hundreds of thousands of Paypal users falling for it and giving up their information to these criminals.

If it was from pay pal they always address you by your full name, because they have it. These thiefs don't know your full name. So it's dear Pay Pal user or something like that...

So the first red flag is your name...:2 cents:

I had one scam one that was in my name, only reason i recognized it was because they had a slight typo in name, but everything else was perfect, sent it to paypal, it was aksing me to change my password and stuff.

I recieve that kind of scam everyday day just ignore them
