I just watched it... and I just found out the writers and directors are Aussies... damn.. Im speechless

Sorry, I didnt explain the title. Its the general concept behind the movie.

It was an interesting movie, had me laughing though.

The thing that pissed this guy off was that people took their life for granted, while he was terminally ill. He would have love to have more time on this earth while these fuckers are ruining the large chunk of their life.

For example the woman, who had her mouth in that vice, was on drugs wasting her life away. The guy who found himself in the razor sharp bobwire enclosure tried to take his own life and failed. The doctor, a man who had everything, beautiful wife, a lovely child, and a great job, was going to cheat on his wife.

Anyway, back to your title, in viking mythology Odin gave up one of his eyes for wisedom. Some animals will knaw their leg off for freedom. Why not die for love, or in this case a part of you to save who you love?

I might buy that movie once it comes out on DVD. Was the funniest horror movie I have ever seen.

I laughed through a lot of it. I think it was a totally FUCKED up movie. But it was well made and creepy as hell

one thing i don't understand....

when he already had his leg sawed off, and he was trying to talk to the dude - EVERYONE in the theater was laughing after every word he said because it was either TERRIBLE acting, or meant to be comedic.

but regardless, it was funny.

i thought the monvie sucked it wasn't even half as scary as they made it out to be... :2 cents:

You really think it was good? It did not even show him cutting his foot off or the stump. In fact you could tell he was wearing a long pants leg over his normal leg. The acting was hardly good enough to make it a B movie. I was hoping for a texas chainsaw type of movie. The whole movie I was like "Ok where is the cutting off of the limbs?" Finally at the end one guy cut his foot off and they did not even show it.

So the dude cuts off his foot? He would bleed to death. Not to mention there's ZERO guarantee the nutjob wouldn't kill his wife and kids anyways. I'll tell that fucker to come get my ass and do it himself if he had the balls.

the dude was a doctor, he knew he was going to bleed to death if he didnt get help. he did tie a tourniquet around his leg before he cut it off..

I wouldn't do it. Besides unless he had massive drugs on him the pain would stop him. You would die of shock befor you even got thru the bone. Torniquet? yeah that'll help.

FYI... the movie cost $1million... and was filmed in 18 days...
In the states alone it made $56mill. From a business point of view I'd say thats awesome ROI

Anyways I enjoyed it... its a thriller, not a horror.. where peoples foots a cut off on screen. Notice nothing jumps out in your face either?
