What was your 15 minutes of fame?
 

My list:

-scored a buzzer beater in highschool basketball (yep, clinched the win within a second, off a rebound foul shot from the opposing team - not a layup, an actual shot almost from 3 point range)
-Valedictorian in Grade 8, LOL - what a joke
-Athletic award in highschool
-briefly dated the the 'miss' so-and-so beauty queen of our town, before she dumped me to move on

However, none of these things have helped me in actual life, lol. Still waiting for the 'real' 15 minutes of fame break that comes with, you know, financial rewards, lol.

Mine is still ahead. Hopefully next year.

Still waiting for my 15 minutes of fame.....and if I have already had it...fame isn't what it is cracked up to be cause i never even noticed.

Very cool accomplishment...something to be very proud of. Can't say I've ever done anything like that.

Was in a Nintendo and a Pert + commercial

*MVP of my school's Girl Basketball Team (even got a nifty little trophy :winkwink: lol )

*meet the drummer from Papa Roach and talked to him for awhile after their concert (here in Milwaukee)

Was in the opening night of the Senior year's play. I was playing a prosecuting attorney, (odd, because most of my roles were humorous ones and this one was anything BUT), and had just finished my opening argument, mis-steppedm and fell from the edge of the stage into the orchestra pit.

Next line? "I rest my case, Your Honor." :(

LOL...never experienced anything quite that bad, but I have many 15 seconds of shame. Too many to list, like driving the car straight thru my parents garage door when I was 17.

I saw trouble and I just reacted no big deal really but glad I could help...

During half time of a Big East basketball game, I hit the back of the rim during a half court shot. The crowd almost went crazy for me. (I was only 12 at the time).

If that went, I could have been on ESPN. :winkwink:

when i went to europe in highschool with my band, we played at lots of schools and stuff...all the little kids asked for our autographs and stuff after, i guess thats what it feels like to be famous...

Being the best student in the history of my grade school. Then scoring 1590 when I took the SAT, one of the highest scores by a French Canadian in the history of the test.
