Conversion ratio variations?
 

How much daily conversion ratio variations do you see on sites that you make over 5 sales a day for? In a month, for the same type of traffic, what's the minimum and maximum ratio you get?

If you get 1:100 for five days and 1:500 the next, do you get suspicious?

I think it depends on how much traffic you send, if your sending 100hits a day, it will create some wierd patterns, but if you are sending thousands of hits daily it should average out much better...

But traffic can still create wierd patterns...

Wizzo is absolutely correct.

It also depends on where your traffic is coming from and how you pre-sell it.

I see huge flucuations in traffic on a day to day basis.....but over the course of the month and ...say 6 months, the conversion ratio will remain fairly consistent

I'm talking of at least 5 sales a day, that should mean at least 2500 hits a day to the sponsor, and the same type of traffic everyday, SE or TGP or whatever. How big are your daily ratio differences?

I get about

1 in 150
to 1 in 400

on my personal galleries it stays within that all month getting 5 to 10 sales a day

I'm getting 1:100 to 1:350 for over 10 sales a day. And the better ratios mostly come on lower hits days - go figure!

I get that same type of results as well usually when picked up on smaller Tgps that are not as much of the same returning traffic everyday
