Some Weird Shit Happened Last Night...
 

I was blitzed out of my gourd but I do remember this happening and it struck me as very odd.

My girlfriend and I took a cab out to have a couple of drinks on the town. We always catch cabs if we know we're going to be doing any heavier-than-normal drinking. The night was great and we had a great time until we tried to catch a cab for a ride home. That's when this story gets odd.

We called Yellow cab about 10 times trying to get a cab to our location. It was 3am and that's when the bars/clubs close here so I figured that it would be a short while before one came. About 10 minutes later a cab shows up. The driver informed us that he had to "run a couple of quick errands" before taking us to my house. Not thinking, I agreed. He didn't start the meter but went on his merry way. 20 minutes later we're sitting in front of the cab depot. He says that he's going to run in real quick and he'll be right back....

45 minutes went by....

A different cab driver then shows up and gets into the cab and asks where we were going. We were now roughly 30 minutes away from house seeing how my house was 10 minutes away in the OPPOSITE FUCKING DIRECTION! My girl and I are trying to figure out what in the hell is going on. I honestly looked around to see cameras. None were there. The new driver then takes us home and refuses my tip. The total fare was $21.35 and I handed him a $20. I was digging around my pocket for the additional money plus the tip and he just waived it off and said Thank you. :eek7

I thank God that the first driver wasn't either a maniac with macabre plans for us or a simple thug that was going to rob us. I still don't know what in the hell went on and why that all happened!!!

I just thought I'd share it because I thought it was extremely odd.
