Most people I see driving SUVs don't need them. Pick-ups are big here too and I know for a FACT 99% aren't hauling shit in them. That's what pick-up is for. Anyone know of ANYONE that actually takes an SUV off road?

the way suv drivers drive puts everyone on the road in danger so it's not really safer.

i bought some sandals at walmart once...got a summers use out of them for 10 bucks... then i threw them out.

most SUVs would crumble if they were taken off road to be thruthful. the only good production off-road vehicles are pick-ups and (gasp) Jeeps.

I buy cheap sandals there frequently, i get two months out of them roughly. then I decided to spend $50 on a good pair, they came apart in 2 weeks. go figure haha

The SUV has done wonders to give the average married + kids adult a "cooler" vehicle than the minivan they used to be doomed to drive...

I don't know what's worse, people driving massive full size SUVs and don't even know how their 4WD works, or people buying wannabe SUVs that are on a car chassis like the CRV, Rav4, etc, and telling people they drive an SUV.

Hmmm, I know how my 4wd drive works and I am always hauling tons of shit back and forth from the marina.
