jimmyf 11-25-2004 04:04 PM

my sites have gone 2 shit as far as google is concerned. don't know why

shaverhunter 11-25-2004 04:08 PM

jimf - give me a url and a search term - I will check it out for you.

Give me something thats no big secret but you are still struggling with - I may be able to give you some free advice.

Ideally - give me a new domain registered after FEB this year which you reckon may be fucking screwed.

swami 11-25-2004 04:12 PM

For competitive keywords, new domains are fucked.Buy a old clean domain that has been indexed by google before the start of the year and then you may start seeing some results for your hardwork.

shaverhunter 11-25-2004 04:16 PM

Swami - doin that - but the sandbox is a total fuck up at the mo that I could do with sharing a few ideas and findings of my own - with anyone whos interested - off this board of course.

Been on WMW and all the rest - but it looks all fucked up there - all the dudes are fucking depressed.

Ive even got one screwed up domain that isnt even competetive - not even fackin adult.

Dont know about any SEO guys on here - but ROLL ON FUCKING MICROSOFT SEARCH.

do they screw over new domains or new websites that they haven't indexed before?

shaverhunter 11-25-2004 04:24 PM

Unknown Suckitbitch.

Ive only got fucked up domains that are registered after FEB.

Good point though - ive got a couple registered before then that I never used. I'll stick a few pages on the fuckers and see whats what when I drag them in with a few links.

I reckon they will be screwed though :(

I have about 100 I registered 2 years ago and I would imagine lots of other people would.

I thought I read in an SEO rag that it was previously unindexed websites that get sandboxed.

Ah well, google jumped the shark a year ago anyway.

I haven't been experiencing the sandbox effect lately, I was about 2 months ago but its been regularly indexing my pages since then. I just bought a fresh domain last week and there's already 88 pages indexed in Google.

In October I put up about dozen one/two year old domains I had sitting around and they all got indexed, no problem.
