Plenty. I have 500+ users in my contact list and when that local history file gets over 25megs (doesn't take long) the entire program starts to bog down, robbing my laptop of virtual memory etc..
Then you get runtime errors shutting ICQ down altogether. Forcing me to backup history and contact files, uninstalling ICQ, reinstalling it with zero history and the process starts all over.
So that leaves me with gigs of history files that I cannot browse.
An offline reader would come in handy.
