my life has been turned upside down this last week

just when you sort of settle into a long lull ie: things are okay, not great, not bad, and you get used to that... something happens that manages to completely change everything. up, down, all around.

absolutely craziness. and yes, i'm talking about you. it's fucked up, but it feels good to be alive :)

Sounds like falling in love except for the fucked up part . That's what happened to me. Doing my thing, working crazy hours, then BAM she entered my life and its all changed since :)

SleazyDream 11-25-2004 02:49 AM

life isn't worth living if you don't get your feet swept out from under you every once in a while.

xclusive 11-25-2004 02:50 AM

Glad your happy man just keep on living life we forget to do that sometimes...

graphicsbytia 11-25-2004 02:52 AM

ut oh... I think I actually understand what you're saying

WiredGuy 11-25-2004 02:55 AM

Life is full of its ups and downs, what's the point of living if we had the same thing day in and day out. We need to live for these swings that come our way and deal with them the best we can.

Mountains make the best vistas by far.

There is so much other there to try and explore. Why limit yourself to the every day? :)

nice said.

I know what you mean... every time I think things are just starting to go well, I get knocked back down.

Oh, turned out I ran into the same problem as you... I thought friends would be cool to work with. Instead they were more eager to hurt me than a scammer would be.

Are you talking about davidd's posts? :) if so, I can relate. I'm tempted to lose some anchors by the end of this year. For too long, I've been focusing on the "destination", and not enjoying the "journey".

Good luck to you.

David is always an inspiration, but no that's not what i'm talking about. this is much better (i hope) :)

i'm happy to hear you are going to attempt some changes yourself. awesome. maybe the internet isn't so useless...

Sometimes it takes a bad experience in your life to truly appreciate the good things about living. I've had a lot of bad shit happen, but I wouldn't trade it for a moment, because it helps me to know when things are going really good. Congrats, quiet :)

IMO strips of tropical beaches with palm trees as viewed from on top of a tall building are best.

The only things in life that you regret are the risks that you DON'T take.

Martin 11-25-2004 09:14 AM

The key term in your post is "work".

MetaMan 11-25-2004 01:34 PM

all you can do is keep on chugging, there is plenty of people in world that im sure care about you, think of those people and it keeps you going.

i recently also had some down feelings, but man when you snap out of it you look back and think wow what was i thinking.

if things are meant to be they will come back around.

life is life, its an unwritten novel and that is why its so great.

gigi 11-25-2004 01:55 PM

Quiet, I'm so glad things are 'looking up' for you. Care to enlighten us? *wink*

Things could be worse for me...but, they also could be better. :Graucho

Problems are what make life interesting. Fixing those problems is what makes life fun.

Doctor Dre 11-25-2004 02:06 PM

Life without ups and down would be boring . How you handle them makes who you are and how succesfull you can be
