Torrents, stolen content being shared

Has any other webmaster had a problem with people uploading their stolen content to share on boards?
and if the owner of the site owns the server, and runs it out of thier house, is there anything you can do?

The claim they dont support the files, and they dont BUT they provide the links to the material being shared. Its like what Kazza was doing and Napster.
Is there anything that you can do?

thank you for reading

I'm going to upload some labelled pics and video myself of our new girls www.teenkai.com when the site is ready- figured the exposure will help more than hurt.

what you feel may start out as advertising can get people interested and then they steal and post everything you have.

I would be careful if I were you

once they get started is there anyway to stop them?

You will pay thousands, and thousands, and acomplish absolutely nothing. You can close down one and another opens up the next day. Don't waste your time, spend the money on better protection for your content.

see it as a chance for promotion like the others said. If its good content there would be about 100 people downloading it at any given time 24/7. It might sound bad to you but that traffic can add up quick.

brand all your material with your logo, even if downloaded thru like kazaa people will come check the site.

How big of a stick do you carry? If you've got some stuff out on
a peer to peer, then you've likely got 10,000 people to be sued.
Good luck with that.

Always make sure you've got your copybug and just consider
it advertising.

Surfer theft happens, they then share with friends. No biggy.
Worry when you find your content on a site that is selling it.
Then you get to sue for that nice $150,000.00 PER IMAGE.
