I went down to Ecuador a little while back to dig up some burial mounds in search of pre-Columbian artifacts. Found some good locations but didn't have enough time to dig properly before we ran into some trouble with the locals and ran out of time.
Someday I'll go back.

My uncle was part owner of the group that found this wreck and quite a few others in the Bahamas and else where. The guy in the picture is one of the three partners. I tried on the helmet that is in the illustration on that page and I helped bring up a few of the canons.

National Geographic did a few stories on that wreck and another we found same with the discovery channel.

I used to go prospecting, I would pan for gold n shit when I lived out in cali.. Would get some good finds here and there.. I've wanted a metal detector for a while too, only thing is, now adays so many people do this shit, you gotta dig down to the last layer of soil to get anything good.. lol
