Most lame video ever

U call that fucking chasing??? how fast were they going maybe 50 -60 on the turns tops.

1. The road wasn't even that twisty and they were barely leaning at all. fuckers need to work on turning cuz they had to brake before before the turns and certainly weren't leaning enuff.

2. if some dickhead tailed me that closely I would fuckin get up alongside and put a dent in his door. Tailing a rider that closely is very dangrous especially on the twisties

take that shit to the track, that car would get smoked

Platinumpimp 11-24-2004 03:54 PM

Holy shit that vette hauls man, HAULS! :helpme

Would depend on the circuit lots of sharp and rather slow corners and the back will lose. Lots of straights and maybe the bike has the edge. This corvette doesn't pull much slower than a R1 once rolling.

You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. :glugglug

I agree... The R1 will beat the vette off the line every time.. The vette has a higher top end. That video didn't show off either feature.

They should have edited that down to 60 seconds.

Magg 11-24-2004 04:09 PM

the driver of the vette couldnt fucking shift..

LA Mike 11-24-2004 04:14 PM

750 horses my ass.... I got cars with 600 that are faster... lol

And yea they werent really going that fast at all. The guys on the bikes didnt know how to ride. When I use to go to Angeles Crest or Ortega HWy on my bike at 7am on sunday with all the other bikes there was no way a car could hang with us... But then again we had to change foot pegs on our bikes every few weeks cuz we ground them down :)

show pics of your knee pucks mike!!

angeles crest is the shit but I mostly ride at palomar nowdays

Furious_Male 11-24-2004 04:22 PM

Been there done that. With me most of the time its been the other way around. Every asshole punk on a bike wants to run my vette until they find out its making boost.

From a dead stop the bikes will always win. From the fly a hopped up car can run them down.

That video is kind of boring.

xclusive 11-24-2004 04:26 PM

I would like to drive that car and then it would be more interesting because that dude can't drive worth a shit...

Semi-Retired-Dave 11-24-2004 04:36 PM

Put me on those bikes, the car would be no where to be found.
They should of at leaset sped up the tape a bit while editing.

Keev 11-24-2004 04:47 PM

trogdor 11-24-2004 04:55 PM

No tunnel on the 38.

The soundtrack sucked. I would of had AC/DC or Iron Maiden cranked.

Vitasoy 11-24-2004 05:25 PM

Sweet! 77mbs but at 120kbs downloading now.. :)

Rob 11-24-2004 05:27 PM

wow.

damonx 11-24-2004 06:06 PM

i love that bike :thumbsup

DatingGold 11-24-2004 06:36 PM

I'd be pissed off if some limp dick followed me that close.. A bike can stop way faster if needed.

Also if the Vette's so fast why didnt he pass him lol.

Most of you are full of shit though, the guy had some balls to drive a vette that fast through mountains.

rml1608 11-24-2004 07:02 PM

He was whining pretty hard in 3rd before I saw him drop down to 4th... To give you an idea I have gotten to 50 miles per hour redlining my 20002 Z06

He was going faster then you think, my guess would be under 100 though.. maybe 80-90 most the time... Topped 100 here and there

Ryan

rml1608 11-24-2004 07:04 PM

That first pass on the truck was 120 - 130 ;)

God vettes are FUN !

50 MPH Red lining in 4th? You must be on crack...

z06 can hit 50mph in First gear lol

Furious_Male 11-24-2004 07:08 PM

Hes blown so hes going to shift out sooner or risk breaking the back end loose. On more then one occassion I stayed on mine in 3rd just a bit to long and busted the back end loose once I started making boost (with traction control off).

To those talking about his shifting. That clutch was getting fucking hot. You can hear it slipping on the multi car pass. I bet he upgraded after that little run.

rml1608 11-24-2004 07:12 PM

Was supposed to be 2nd .... not 4th... I wasnt watching what I was typing...

And no the Z06 will no hit 50 + in first, unless you wanna do somemajor repairs - Sorry I know ...

I got an 02 Vette to 50 in first gear test driving it...

rml1608 11-24-2004 07:31 PM

Do believe I "might" have hit 55-60 in second a couple times really pushing it after the 500 mile break in period...

Mike Fold you post here? If so put in your two cents!

Ryan

rml1608 11-24-2004 07:35 PM

How bad did the motherfucker jerk when you dropped the clutch ? :1orglaugh

I assume you were smart enough to pop into neutral or downshift lol ... Well it's bene about 2 years since I drove mine but I remember riding it hard and sure don't remember pushing 50 - 60 mph in 1st.

Then again, I RARELY used first almost ALWAYS started in 2nd gear damn thing was geared so low...

Out of curiousity, I assume it was a 6 speed Z06, no ? No way in fucking hell a 2002 that wasn't a Z06 meaning it was pushing 350 HP (versus the Z06's then 405 which is now standard in the new vettes) is gonna get that kind of power in first unless you were possibly driving a 4 speed or five speed last I checked they don't make those though.

Huggles 11-24-2004 07:48 PM

Any of you guys rode in a single turbo Supra?

I just happen to own one. It put 686 horsepower to the rear wheels on the old setup. My new setup should do 750 or so to the wheels.

Even on the old setup, many bikes lost by a bus length or more. Off the line the bike has a huge advantage. After 60 mph the car has the advantage.

Next stop for my car is 345 drag radials and a 2-step rev limiter that will allow launches on full boost. Once the car is built again, all I have to do is get some practice. :)
