Well, what do we all learn from that ?

Do not spy on Afghanistan !

Sjayne 09-23-2001 06:15 PM

Atleast it was an unmanned spyplane

chass 09-23-2001 06:16 PM

Don't know about the second but the "planes" that were shot down were probably just drones! Pilot-less "model" planes run by remote control carrying sophisticated camera equipment...Nothing to worry about---can't be the real thing or else the Afghans would have shown the wreckage on TV...right?

Have you read this yet? It was originally posted by Red, but I think it deserves more attention than it has received. Be damn glad there was no one in that plane.

Hard to show something on TV when you don't allow TV in your country and won't let journalists into your country.

Good article. I have heard reports that the an SAS brick has already had a brief fire fight with some Taliban. I'm gonna see if I can find any links to it.

drumsicle 09-24-2001 03:56 AM

Here's one. Who knows if it's true. At any rate the SAS are some bad muthas, and we are damn fortunate they are with us. God bless the Brits.
