i love jeeps - i bought my wife one they are real solid vehicles. she rolled it over on a mountain pass one time and it held up perfectly and kept her and the baby safe.

Just got a new test server at home after the last one crashed yesterday due to some odd problem with the mainboard. It's good when your project sponsors have assigned almost unlimited budget for your stuff :)

The new server costs 23.547 Euro (about $30k)... not bad for overnight purchase :)

Every day when I wake up and my children are alive and healthy is a good day. No, it's a GREAT day! I've worked in the medical profession for several years and I've seen how precious life is and how quickly it is taken away.

So, when I'm having a sucky day, all I need to do is realize that even though I'm having a sucky day/week/month, at least TODAY I am not burying a child of mine. It really helps to put things into perspective when you realize how much you DO have instead of how much you DON'T have.

Life can always get worse. That is a guarantee. Be grateful for what you have today.
