Exit Popups - What do you think?
 

Hey all, how are you?

As some of you know, I have a TGP (sexbless.com) and I was thinking about using an exit traffic program.

What do you people think of it? What are your experiences on TGP with it? Seems like it's worth it. The surfer will only get the popup after he's done viewing my galleries, since they open in a new window... only when they close the TGP window it will popup an exit console.

Let me know what are your views on that!

Well I think tgp's should not use exit popups... you don't want the gallery owners to use them, right?

the point has already been made about your surfers not coming back which should be a concern but what about your trades...?? I don't know how big your site is or who you trade traffic with but if any of my sites were on that list I would drop you in a New York minute if you put up an exit console.

The other side of that coin is ... if you are trading with CJ2 sites that allow a single exit (or enter in some cases) then you are missing out by not having one.

And yet one more thought... to expand on the surfers returning... if you take the time to run a legit TGP with actual updated galleries and minimal to no blind links then an exit console would be very stupid indeed... but if your site is full of trades and very few galleries then go for it http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/biggrin.gif

Well I just put one on my site that leeds to join4free. Is not a usual one because I use a cookie so a surfer won't get that but once a day.
Since now all is ok .

my opinion is that most exit programs make your site into a popup hell and it becomes a very bad experience for the surfer.

what i would do, if you are going to use popups, is use a program like eraser cash or some other partnership program that allows you to like to it via popups. then you can control the amount of popups, and even design the popup yourself... so that it doesn't take a long time to load, or loads however and whenever you want, etc.

right now, i'm using eraser cash ( http://www.erasercash.com/wm.html?ID=9223239 ) as my popup and it works good. i don't think the small, quick loading popup is all that much of a problem to the surfers

Exit programs aren't good for TGPs. In Jan. and Feb. 2000 some was exiting just to a single non-adult page. It was great http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

I'd pop an erasercash ad, but with atleast 5k or more uniques per day.

I love popups, but I hate console hells.

I decided that definitely I wanna keep it clean for the surfers and nice for the traders.

I'd stay away from exit pop sponsor programs because I HATE how they pop up a million windows when someone exits.

If you were thinking about something like that, what I'd recommend doing, is what I do. Make up a popup window and put in some links to some sponsors and/or some of your top referrers, so you only have that one pop, which most people can live with.

One other option would be to join a program like http://www.http://www.totally4freecash.com they have this great looking full size window that you can use for an exit pop and make 3 CENTS PER CLICK ! It's run by the great people at NexCash, so you'll get paid. They also have 2 new niches coming up.

Here's what their window will look like and like I say, it only pops once, so that's VERY nice. I use this on a couple of my sites. Here's a smaller view of the pop
