Do you follow the 3 day rule?
 

There is a "rule" of sorts where you don't call a girl for 3 days after first meeting her; so as to not look too clingy or whatever. (I think this is dumb)

Do you follow that?

I had a blind date last night that went really well, and the girl is leaving tonight for thanksgiving, and not coming back for a week.

Let me hear your votes... should I call her today to set something up for when she gets back, or not talk to her until she returns?

just give her a single call and tell her you had a good time last night, wondering if she would wanna get together when she gets back... and leave it at that.. tell her to give you a call when she gets back if she wants to get together, and dont call her again until she calls you.. if she dont call you, forget her... girls hate being forgotten as much as we do, if she dont call you back, she isnt interested, if you call her before she calls you (after this last call tonight) then she will see you really are interested, and she will play games with your head:2 cents:

But...I don't follow the rule. If I like someone and can see that she's into me...there's no need to wait.

If she's going for a week you have to call the day after or the 8th day. I say the day after.

Be a man. Call her.

You'd be surprised how many women appreciate a guy who doesn't play immature, pointless mind games. Aaaaaaand if she's one of those self-absorbed ones who think you are soft for calling the next day, buddy, move on. You don't need that on your plate.

Addendum:
When you call, if she says something like "Wow, I'm surprised you called. Most guys don't call for a week!" Come back with "well i'm not like most .... " then give a long pause and say alarmingly: "A WEEK????? What the fuck is wrong with you?"
