Vampire Trades

Those who are new to the trading game can easily become victims of traffic cheaters. A traffic cheater uses under handed methods of sending you poor quality traffic or ghost traffic produced by hitbots. When I started out I had heard about hitbots and I had even seen a few hitbots scripts on hacker sites. There are many of these types of scripts on the internet and there main purpose is to steal your traffic.

When I started heavy trading and thought I was ready expand with the major sites a lot of them would not give me the time of day when it came to trades and it took me a while to find out why. So I had to build my traffic the old fashioned by tending to my trades like the damn stock market and investing in a good non-free trading script. Once I got up in the numbers a few big sites asked how I managed to triple my traffic. It took me a while to understand why all the damn questions and the reason is there are shady webmasters out there who cheat when trading. Which causes me to be cautious when taking on new trade partners.

Here is a short example on how you get screwed trading with a cheater:

A - Your site: your-site.com
B - Cheaters site: shit-traffic.com

Trade gets setup between site A and site B
Site B is sending a generous amount of traffic with what seems to be nice productivity
Site A gets a boner and increases trade to site B possibly even sending EXOUT extra traffic to Site B
Site B is sending spoofed, hitbot, crap traffic to Site A
Site A is sending Site B normal traffic & Site A is sending its trading partners bullshit traffic from Site B
The productivity of Site A on its trading partners sites will decrease causing them to return less traffic to Site A
Overall traffic on Site A will decrease and the Site B will slowly suck the life out of Site A and it will die because trading partners see it as a poor trade

Here are a few of the warning signs:
A site the previously and consistently had low traffic that starts producing
A site that has a large jump in traffic in a short period of time
A site that sends and lot of traffic but has poor productivity
A site that sends a large percentage of raw hits

Trade wisely and don't be a TRAFFIC WHORE ;-D jumping on every trade that comes along.
Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.

A few webmasters from the Ebony Traffic board have hit me up about building traffic, good traffic vs. bad traffic. One dude was getting straight out PIMPED but the corrected his problem.

I'm currently running a Anti Hitbot script on a few of my sites I'll post my results on the Ebony Traffic board.

Peace!!!!!!
