ive been working on a domain deal with this guy for the past 3 months. he has 3 domains i REALLY REALLY REALLY want bad. we have bounced back and forth on prices for 3 months.

he has finally came to terms with a price. its alot higher then i had 1st intended on paying, but now after all this hoopla, im willing to fork over there $

but, heres my prob. i dont have the difference in what i was willing to pay vs what he is now wanting.
so.

i could sell 1 of my other domains and make up the cash to buy these 3. thing is, thats like selling one of your kids. its sooooo fucking tuff.

im sure if i dont act on this asap its going to slip right out of my hands, and i do not want that to happen. ofcourse ive also spent enuff time on this deal to choke a horse.

but! i do not want to sell one of my other domains. and to make up the difference in price, i would have to sell one of the prime ones.

so, what do you think i should do? :helpme

How about getting a loan?

if those are some really good domains you might wanna open some of your savings and take some $ from there.

Find an investor for that last little bit.

most likely your best bet. Or, if you have a CC, use it.

If you have kids, sell them before you do the domain.

Acquire at the very least 10% of what you need, or put up all of what you previously had intended to spend, and acquire a personal loan for the full amount.

1. i.e., will the traffic levels on these 3 be significantly higher than what they are on the one you'd have to sell?

2. Is the domain you're going to sell branded / have you put money into it, or are you just collecting typeins?

from what i understand, the traffic level of 1 of the 3 im lookin to purchase is HUGE, the other 2 are decent or comparable to the 1 im thinking about selling.

we are talking pure type in traffic to all of these domains. the one im thinking about selling, and the 3 im wanting to buy.

i havent branded the domain im looking to sell, but someone could easly. it recives a good amount of type in traffic daily and if someone had some time to develop it, they would make a boat load off it

and yes, i collect.

that there lies the prob. the domain i would sell is a monster, ofcourse so are the other 3. the 3 together are worth more then the 1, but that dont mean i can stomach parting with it.

once you aquire something like this, its kinda like cuttin off your arm. you just dont want to do it no matter what. even if its going to save your life, or make you shit load of cash.
