My Computer is going CRAZY!

I have know idea whats going on but the last week or so my computer starts acting crazy. I'll be surfing and it will shut the window, my mouse will be flying around my screen, programs will open, task manger will open , outlook fires up , the control panel , the start menu and so on. Then it will stop and I have to close everything.. What the deal? Anybody?

Hhhmmmmm never seen this happen or know anyone who had this prob. Might wanna try virus scan (update first), do a win update, search your HD for trojans and/or exploits. If you got a wireless mouse and keyboard, change batteries or reset the connection. If you got a wireless network re-configure it, could be someone getting access thruw your network. Hope this helps.

Well all that needs to happen is you open an infected file (software, email, whatever) and it executes the trojan and it opens a backdoor that gets past the virusscanner and firewall.

when it happens...pull out your networkcable...if it stops...you have been hacked.

Don't go nuts now, i had this once on win2000, it was just the batterties of my wireless mouse that was almost empty.

I had that problem with XP Home. XP didn't like my Logitech optical mouse. Problem was solved when I got a Microsoft one.

xenophobic 11-23-2004 09:22 AM

try out this to see if you have a program bound to a port that shouldn't be, I just suggested the same companies tools in another thread:

Cool people. Thanks. I think it might my mouse. It seems to happen when my mouse sticks... I'll try a virus scan too to be sure.
