I've got a .bin, what do I do?
 

yes, its torrent software... how do i load it? stick it on a CD or something? do tell..

Get winimage and extract it :P

get nero burning rom ... create disk image, point it at the .cue and the .bin will automatically be added.

Now change your sig, please.

it will make a drive on your pc of that .bin file
so it is like you are running the cd

if they forgot the .cue you are mighty fucked sir. IF it is included burn the cue file as a disk image and it will burn what you want (the bin too).

trust me...grab daemon tools and mount the .bin...you'll have a neat virtual cd/dvd rom drive, and you can mount iso, .cue, .bin, .nrg, .mds etc.. and you can even emulate the most basic cd protection (safedisk, securerom etc..)

+ with deamon tools, you don't waste a CD-R....(ok they are like 20cents each now but so what).... I just mount them....install the program and delete the .bin afterward

Actually .cue files are just little textfiles. A couple of things vary if you're burning a pc data cd, or a playstation game etc.

For a pc data cd, paste (minus the dashes)
into a .cue file.

I like it Isobuster it, or use a program like deamon tools to mount it like a cd drive :)

so i burned it to cd...

i put the CD in and nothing happened...



i opened the cd, clicked on all the files and my computer keeps asking me which program i want to Open With...

any ideas?
