Rush Limbaugh Is A Bigot...His Explanation For Pacers/Pistons Fight
Rush Limbaugh put his foot in his mouth again today proving he's a bigotted bastard.
He says on his show that the fight during the Pacers/Pistons game was due to the 'hip hop' culture. He started criticizing hip hop and how it was responsible for the attitudes that lead to the fighting in sports. Then a caller asks him about the everyday fights in hockey and major riots in soccer. How did hip-hop influence them? Well ol' Rushbaugh stumbled over his words and tried to evade and basically made an ass of himself AGAIN. I've said it once and I'll say it again. He's a friggin propoganda machine for the new nazi elite running this country. |

The man is a living scab... If listen to him for just 20 mins or so I end up screaming at my radio. Hes a lying, concited, pice of shit who contradicts himself constantly, sometimes within the same segment.

Actually, didn't he commend the "supposedly hip hop culturally influenced bad boy" Rasheed Wallace for restraining himself and holding Ben Wallace back.. ?

yes fighting in hockey, (decades of tradition) is definately comparable to basketball players fighting with fans, I totally see the relevance

You go to see 6 year olds playing hockey and you can see fighting in the stands, never mind on the ice.
My father was born in Glasgow Scotland. The last time I went with him for a visit he went to see the Glasgow Rangers playing the Glasgow Celtic at soccer - I asked if I could go with him and he told me "no - its not very safe" - I was 22 years old - 6'2, 200lbs and he still was worried. That hip-hop culture really gets around. |

He may be wrong in his opinion about hip-hop contributing to the attitude of players that leads to things like the fight. That's in no way being bigotted. He may be right that it has something to do with it, he may be wrong. To compare hockey doesn't make sense. Maybe hip-hop doesn't contribute to fights in hockey. Maybe something else contributes to fights in hockey, like hockey culture, which many people including hockey fans have a problem with. Many oldschool hockey fans will tell you the game has gone downhill because of focusing on fighting, but the new generation of hockey fans enjoy it and see it as integral. Two different sports. Two potentially different reasons for fighting in them. No bigotry anywhere in that equation. |
