Checking Site download speeds in Italy.
 

My site loads fast thus far in Italy, France and the UK..

Suprisingly there are sites that dont load well out here, but are fast loaders in the US.

or post it here, and Ill check it out for ya..

To no suprise there are multiple pay sites that foreward Italy traffic, along with free hosts and free site tgps..

Not here to list em, but if you want to know if your site loads out here and the speed let me know.

When I head to Spain, and later Hong Kong this month it will be even more intresting to see whats what.. Especially in Hong Kong. Wondering if I can load any pay sites out there, and I am very curious as to which free sites and free hosts forward out there, in addition to how well my sites load.

The boneprone family world tour lives on and I wish those back home in the US all the best with the tradgy that has hit our home.

There are internet cafes everywhere. Depending on what cities you are going to it is very easy to find a cafe.

If you are taking a laptop use earthlink, and simply search for the local city dial in numbers.. Its real easy..

The hotel charges you a per minute charge I was a bit worried about, but its dirt cheap.

The most expensive bill I got in my hotel for phone charges accessing the net on my laptop was 24.00 USD for like 3 hours of usage..

Its real easy.

Thats not bad prices. I remember when I was on a cruise last year. They charged me fucking $5.95 per minute. USD.

OK, I've got the laptop and the Earthlink account... do the hotels charge you per minute just to use the phone to dial out?

Yep, both earthlink and the hotel charge ya per minute.

Earthlink will be about 15 cents a minute to your credit card, and the hotle fee is about 15.00 per hour roughly. Not too bad in italy really.

Also, forgot to tell ya, be sure to buy an adapter kit.. The plugs for the electricty and phones are different!

Go to a computer or eletronics store and you can get the computer kit that hass all countries in it with like 20 different plugs and shit.

Without the adapters for their electricty in Italy and the phone adapter, you are pretty much screwed.

There is even an adapter for Afganistan in case you plan to make a trip there.

Adaptor kit for Afghanistan... 500 mile long spooled cable to reach to Pakistan... since the Taliban cut all outside phone lines and the net is illegal to access from there...
